Loosely translated as “Linen and cotton - natural materials fabric things”, this was one of the first few craft books I bought before I got addicted to crafting. Even though it’s old, the patterns inside can be found in all the current Japanese craft magazines and books. In fact, it consolidated the most popular and common patterns that you’ll possibly want - bags (tote, cards-holder), kitchen items (table mat, apron), room items (pillows, room shoes), and simple clothes and stuffies!

I have a couple of books from this handmade ZAKKA series by le duvet doux. Yet another book that doesn’t include pattern sheets. Nonetheless, the nice photography and kitschy illustrations work for me. This “monochrome travel” issue features a zakka shopping guide in Kobe and monochromatic zakka ideas.
