Rilakkuma (relax bear) (JP)
First up, a Merry Christmas to everyone! Do leave a comment if you’re reading this because I’m getting traffic but I rarely get comments or feedback.
It’s been a so-so Christmas and I’m looking forward to 2008. My sister left for Washington yesterday morning to study there for six months and I miss her already! *waves at Michi* Before she left, I made her a rilakkuma felt mascot, poorly done because I didn’t have the right color threads and I’m not very good at hand stitching.
This book is a must-buy for all rilakkuma fans out there.

Recycling Polaroids

I got tempted to bring out my Holga Impulse after seeing Yen’s polaroids. Failed to capture Hikki under the 2feet minimum distance ($4 down the drain) and another useless photo of my Hello Kitty fabric (add $2). So I decided to recycle my polaroids by doing some magazine montage! All cut-outs from project smitten magazine #3.
Click on the thumbnails to view the other two montages I made as well as the original “bad photos”:

Make your own Five Stones - a traditional game

This is a very simple to make craft project (I took longer to write this tutorial than to make them!) and it uses fabric scraps 10cm x 7cm. Five stones is a traditional game, one that I played when I was a little girl. I’m not sure if people in other parts of the world also play this. More information on how to play, here.
Anyway, let’s get started!
