1. Mambo night at Zouk
Admittedly my first mambo night experience and quite possibly the last. The queue was madness. Sweaty people shoving their way through; guys pushing through the crowd and knocking me over a couple of times; a girl using her fingertips to “clear the path” and poking me instead. Warm, stuffy, sweaty. ‘Nuff said.
2. No “thank you”
I was the only one who thanked the man distributing “Today” newspapers. He barely looked at me.
3. The Maid
Saw a maid pulling the already sagging face of a wheelchair ridden old woman for no reason, then continue chatting happily with another maid.
What’s the world becoming to? *frowns*
