Korean goodies - Mushroom BB Cream & White Angel chocolates
My sister lugged back a bagful of skincare for me from Korea before Christmas, and I love them! I don’t usually buy Korean stuff because I’m a Japanese-supporter so this is a first!

Part of the loot included my favorite Aloe BB Cream from Skin Food, and I also got to try the Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream and Peach Sake Pore Minimizing Base. (Skin Food products are more than 25% cheaper in Korea compared to Singapore!) The Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream has a runnier consistency compared to Aloe BB Cream, thus the coverage is less. It also smells a little raw like greens. Same sunblock properties as Aloe BB Cream but with added whitening and anti-aging properties. The Peach Sake Serum made my skin flaky when I applied the BB cream over it has quite a strong scent, pore coverage wasn’t obvious, I prefer Ettusai’s Zero Pore Coat.
Read about my other BB Creams reviews in this post.
And there are these Happy House Design (Australia) designed, Korean white chocolates too!

I’ve got a lot of other masks and packs to try, will update as I use them.

First up, a Merry Christmas to everyone! Do leave a comment if you’re reading this because I’m getting traffic but I rarely get comments or feedback.
It’s been a so-so Christmas and I’m looking forward to 2008. My sister left for Washington yesterday morning to study there for six months and I miss her already! *waves at Michi* Before she left, I made her a rilakkuma felt mascot, poorly done because I didn’t have the right color threads and I’m not very good at hand stitching.
This book is a must-buy for all rilakkuma fans out there.

Motorola Q9h
I’ve got a new toy, and at a great price of only SG$68 after renewing a high-end plan and trading in my old cellphone. Being the absentminded girl that I am, I rely on my phone to remind me of appointments and also as my trusty alarm clock. Here’s what I think of the Motorola Q9h.

Feels solid with an excellent QWERTY keyboard, no complaints. Easy to assemble but manual doesn’t show you how to insert the extended memory card. Comes with a good leather case with a clip that I want to remove but it’s not removable. Haven’t seen a desktop charger in ages, it also charges via USB.
This is my first time using a Windows Mobile cell so it took a bit of getting used to. First thing I wanted to do was customize the Home Screen. It was a huge pain in the a** to do so because there is no way of previewing so I had to set and view, set and view, set and view. Doesn’t help that it comes with names like Luminescence (what I’m using now), Pixelation, Sand Flower or Translucent (which is actually red by the way) so you can’t really tell what colors they are.

A few things I don’t like:
- x Doesn’t come with multiple alarm clocks like Sony Ericsson phones
- x Contacts need to be in phone if you want to add a mugshot to the name (and I haven’t found out how to mass copy all the contacts in my SIM card to the phone)
- x I get running applications that I’m not running and I need to do an end task every now and then
- x I wish it had two shift keys instead of one because it’s a little inconvenient to type in caps for chars on the right side of the keyboard
- x I can’t unlock the phone without looking at the phone because of the weird key combination
- x No WIFI (not that I really need it since my DS and iPod Touch both have it)
- x The phone is processing pretty okay overall except when I try to access Media Centre > Audio with which it lags like crazy trying to search and like fetch all the audio files in the phone
Well, it does come with a whole lot of features which you can read up on, plus it is compatible with BlackBerry Connect. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my new phone.
