#09: AVRIL’s Playing with Yarn NO. 1

Books, Craft books, Shop February 16th, 2008

BOOK SOLD!

This is a brand new craft book which I bought in Japan, you’ll be getting a new copy in a sealed plastic bag (I scanned my own copy). I thought that this was a funny book because it teaches you how to knit and crochet with your fingers instead of the regular needles! There are instructions with photos so you can follow even if you don’t read Japanese. Also included are patterns for making scarves, bags and camisoles with your fingers!

7th listing for the 10 days $10 zakka books sale. For information on buying, please refer to this post.

So what is a hanko?

A hanko, also called an inkan, is a seal used by individuals and corporations to stamp a name in ink onto a document. It is used as an equivalent to a signature or signing your initials. You should remember that seals carry the same significance as signatures and so should be used judiciously.
