I found this really good article on toy cameras by Ayana for pingmag that I’d like to share. I had initially wanted to get the Kisekae and Golden Half but decided on the Natura Classica and Holga 135BC instead. (I’ll definitely buy the Kisekae and Golden Half when I have more money!)
We hope people carry toy cameras with them everyday and do like some of the pictures they’ve taken … First of all, it’s best to choose a camera by its appearance … going for the appearance will make you want to carry it around with you everyday and it will encourage you to take more pictures. I’d say, get outside and simply take lots of pictures!

Years ago, I used to own a Holga 120 but the medium format and leaks were no fun for me, everything is exposed!!! It’s more convenient with 35mm film since it’s more common and less fuss. I’m now halfway into my Natura 1600 film with and I can’t wait to finish all 24 shots so I can develop the photos!
