Little Herb: Chamomile
Shop July 24th, 2007
Now that I have time, I started on two DIY gardening kits: chamomile and cactus. I wanted to import the egg type for my shop initially, but encountered problems with shipping as they break easily. The tin ones are still as fun to grow. If you bought a kit from shop.zakka-zakka.com and still don’t know what to do, read on…
1. Pick your favorite DIY gardening kit from shop.zakka-zakka.com

2. Open the tin and remove all its contents except the soil.

3. Add water to the soil until you fill the tin with enough water to cover half the height of the tin.

4. Your soil will grow to twice it’s original size!

5. Sprinkle all the seeds provided onto the soil that is exposed.

6. Water daily and wait for seedlings to sprout! Even though instructions say it’ll only take a week to 10 days, customers have feedback that some may take 3-4 weeks before seedlings appear. Only expose it to full sunlight when all most of the seedlings have appeared. Switch to a bigger pot when your plant outgrows the tin. ![]()

About
look forward for it growing up. ^__^ are you going to bring in more chamomile?
about strawberry hor, is there any indication about the temperature required?
Hello vonvonz, if you want another chamomile I can always place an order.
For all the plants, the optimal temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius. Maybe that’s why it takes longer for the seedlings to sprout when planted in Singapore. My clover grew well in an air-conditioned office until a rat ate them up before I could take a photo!
geee crazy rat!!!
actually if you can order a clover and chamomile one, it would be great. ^^ i’ll email you later! gotta go now! thanks a lot!
