After receiving my new iPod Touch, apart from using it mainly to share my wedding photos and videos with family and friends, I’ve been listening to some podcasts by Japancast.net.
Firstly, and most importantly, it’s free! Sounds too good to be true? But it is true! Next, you get a native teacher, Hitomi, and her American husband, Paul, speaking in both Japanese and English in their lessons. Both Hitomi and Paul also give their personal opinions on culture shock in Japanese and American perspectives. The lessons are very light hearted and I find myself smiling widely on the train or on the bus while listening to their podcasts.
