Chinese Garden Hello Kitty Lantern Festival
This is one of the most boring and money wasting trip ever and I will never return again until the day I have my own kids, then I’ll bring them there for their once in a lifetime visit. The place is utter boredom even with my favorite Hello Kitty lanterns display. There is nothing else to see or be entertained and you have to pay more money (the entrance fee is already $15 without any door gifts) if you want to see the turtles or something. There is nowhere to enjoy a nice cup of tea or anything except a makeshift sheltered corner with a handful of stores selling local food like noodles and chicken rice. Singapore really needs to do something about the Chinese Gardens and inject more life and activities into it!!!
The framing of the photos are not fantastic but bear with me as I’m still trying to figure out how the Natura works. Fantastic details for the lotus shot as it was night and you can barely see the details of the kois with your naked eye but the
captures them all!
My first roll
Yay! I collected my first roll (Fujicolor Natura 1600) from my Natura Classica today! No flash or photoshop were used in the following photos.
Wonderfully delightful desserts from Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie! The big chunks of meringues are only $3.50 and I love the vanilla meringue!

Back from Japan
Hello everybody! I’m back from Japan and it was a really wonderful experience! We visited Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and visited Universal Studios Japan and Tokyo Disney Sea Park! We took the Hollywood Dream The Ride and it’s possibly one of the best rides I’ve ever taken! I’ve never screamed more!!
You get to choose 1 out of 5 tracks to listen to while taking the ride, how clever is that?! I chose Osaka Lover by Dreams Come True and now it’s on repeat on my Winamp player.
Listen to it here:
The Tower of Terror at Disneysea was a little disappointing and not very scary though; all the rides in Disneysea seem smaller and less scary compared to Disneyland LA.
