10 days $10 Zakka Books Sale

New craft books additions to my collection from Japan
Those who joined my mailing list would have been informed about my $10 zakka books sale.
I’ll be listing the books pretty soon so sit tight! Now let’s see how this works…
I will list one book or a set of books every day for 10 days, there will be a short write-up and some preview scans for each book. The first listing will start on 1st February 2008 (GMT+8).
All books are pre-loved by me but in excellent condition, some look brand new!
Ordering: Leave a comment in the post that lists the book(s) you want to buy with your best bid price. The book(s) will be sold to the highest bidder at the end of the 10th day. If you are the first and only person to leave a comment, the book will be sold for $10!
Shipping: You will pay the actual shipping costs to your country, totals will be tabulated at the end of the 10th day so that shipping can be combined if you bought more than one book.
Payment: Local bank transfers for Singaporeans only. Paypal or Credit Card (via Paypal) accepted for international orders.

ステッチ idees vol.5 (JP)
Taking my mind off the books for a bit (cramming for tomorrow’s paper) and fulfilling 01/12 of 2008’s craft book reviews resolutions. Stitch idees vol. 5 has so many inspiring craft ideas in cross-stitch and embroidery, I could have scanned cover to cover! These are some of my favorites.

Here’s another piece of good news, the husband and I will be traveling to JAPAN next week for the first part of our honeymoon! Yes, it’s so exciting and I look forward to taking lots of photos, the onsen, Disneyland/sea, food and shopping, and bringing back some pretty Japanese fabrics for the shop!

First up, a Merry Christmas to everyone! Do leave a comment if you’re reading this because I’m getting traffic but I rarely get comments or feedback.
It’s been a so-so Christmas and I’m looking forward to 2008. My sister left for Washington yesterday morning to study there for six months and I miss her already! *waves at Michi* Before she left, I made her a rilakkuma felt mascot, poorly done because I didn’t have the right color threads and I’m not very good at hand stitching.
This book is a must-buy for all rilakkuma fans out there.
